Jonathan Beswick.

Born c. 1880, he produced no children.

His parents are unknown, but it is known that he had 2 siblings: Rachel Kershaw nee Beswick and Nancy Arrowsmith nee Beswick
 
 

Jonathan Beswick wrote a history of Royton school - Mother has a copy.  He retired in his 30s.  When asked how he survived, his reply was 'by the fewness of my wants'.
