Helen Cecil nee Landery
born 21-Dec 1931 in Aberdeen to Nell Landery nee Shaw, youngest of
4 children (Fred 1917, Margaret 1923, John).
Helen grew up, rather unhappily, in Aberdeen, moved to Canada in the 1950s, and Seattle in 1968, 20 minutes drive from Barbara Christy. She was instrumental in re-establishing contact since she passed on to Barbara the Manchester address of John Robert Shaw, presumably dating back to her mother's family diary from the the 1950s? Helen's name was passed to Barbara by Robert Hunter (like Barbara, a US-based descendant of Jessie Shaw).
With her husband Douglas Cecil she has daughters Perlita, Karlene (who with Henry have given Helen two beloved grandchildren: Olivia 1991, Joey 1993) and son Alistair.
